- Take the chicken leg and make 2-3 slashes on both the sides. Pat dry the chicken with a kitchen towel. Marinate the chicken with the first marination ingredients for about half an hour.

- Mix well and rub the marinade coating the chicken nicely including the slashes. Marinate them for sometime, the longer the better. I Kept for 2 hours.
- Heat the pan with the butter. Now lay the marinated chicken and roast them in low-medium heat.

- If there is any left over marinade rub them in the chicken in between the cooking.
- It will take approx 15-20 mins for the chicken to get it done.
- Now to give a smoky flavor to the chicken, heat the charcoal and add it in the pan or add it to a small bowl and put it in the pan, pour few drops of oil over the heated charcoal.
- Immediately cover the pan and keep for 1 min.
