  16. Make ready 2-3 tbsp. Red Pepper Flakes
  17. Prepare 1 package Firm or Extra Firm Tofu, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  18. Make ready 1 tbsp. Corn Starch dissolved in 1-2 tbsp. water
  19. Prepare 1/2 tbsp. Sesame Oil (optional)
  20. Get 1-2 tbsp. Sesame or Caraway Seeds for garnish (optional)

Pressing tofu: To press the tofu, remove the tofu from the packaging and drain the water. Place the block between paper towels or a kitchen towel. Wrap firmly around the block and transfer to a plate. Top with another plate and place a heavy object (book, cans) on top of the plate. Heat oil over high heat until lightly smoking.
