- Cut all the vegetables into a blender and put half a cup of water (add more if needed) and blend
- In a big pot put 3/4 cup oil and the meat that is cut. Add salt and seasoning.
- Put in the blended vegetables and stir. Let it sit for about 30 minutes and stir when needed.
- Boil 2.5 litres of water. Wash the rice and set it aside.
- In the pot with the meat check to see if the water is leaving and oil is shown. Then put the rice inside and stir.
- Then put the boiled water and stir. Cook it till it is soft and small liquid remains.
- Then put aluminum on top and cook in the oven for 20 minutes.
I've landed by chance on your Bariis Isku Karis youtube video and can't stop salivating ever since. I call this restaurant rice because this is the kind of rice that is usually served in the Restaurants. I also think this rice is really good after it is refrigerated overnight.
