- Thaw cod fillet.
- Soak cod in milk for 30 mins.
- Remove cod from milk and let excess milk drip off.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of cod. Coat cod in cracker meal.
- Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Place cod in basket and spray top side of cod with cooking spray.
- Set air fryer @ 390° for 10 mins. Press Play/Pause button.
- After 10 mins, flip cod over, spraying basket area beneath cod with cooking spray. Spray top of cod with cooking spray.
- Set air fryer @ 390° for 7 mins and press Play/Pause button.
Lightly coat the base of a non-stick frying pan with olive oil then place the pan over a medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, season the cod with salt and place it in the pan skin-side down (if the skin has been left on). I've always air fried salmon and saba, and since I'm cooking cod today, why should it be any different? My salmon cooks in six minutes after a three-minute preheat, so I thought to try this timing with cod. You could also substitute cod with more cost-friendly types of fish or fish fillets and it'll also be good.
